What Changed
Jio added Gemini Pro AI access for 18 months to its Rs 3,999 365-day prepaid plan in January 2026. The plan continues to include JioHotstar for 1 year, 2.5 GB per day with unlimited 5G, and 100 GB of JioCloud storage.
Effective January 2, 2026, Jio bundled an 18-month Gemini Pro AI subscription with its flagship Rs 3,999 annual prepaid plan. The benefit is offered through Jio's partnership with Google and is activated via the MyJio app within 30 days of recharge.
Gemini Pro is Google's premium AI assistant that includes access to advanced reasoning models, longer context windows, and priority response speeds. Standalone, Gemini Pro is priced at roughly Rs 1,950 per month in India, which makes the 18-month bundle worth approximately Rs 35,000 in retail value. For Jio users on the annual plan, this benefit is effectively free for the duration of the recharge and six months beyond.
The rest of the plan stays the same as before. Users continue to get 2.5 GB of high-speed 4G or 5G data per day for 365 days, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, 100 GB of JioCloud storage, and a 1-year JioHotstar subscription that covers all sports and entertainment content on the platform.
Existing Rs 3,999 recharge holders from before January 2026 are eligible to activate Gemini Pro through the MyJio app benefits screen. If you recharged in December 2025, sign in to MyJio and tap the Gemini Pro card under My Rewards.
For new users deciding between Airtel Rs 3,999 and Jio Rs 3,999, the Gemini Pro benefit gives Jio a clear edge on AI value. Airtel's annual plan still leads if you prefer Wynk Music and Apollo 24/7. Both plans deliver the same headline data and OTT benefits at the same Rs 3,999 price point.
